ABOUT DALESBRED

Founded in the village of Austwick, in workshops on the green, Dalesbred was named by co-director (and former farmer) Simon after a distinctive breed of hardy hill sheep.

We're inspired daily by our stunning surroundings but also draw influence from traditional skills and the ethos of the Arts & Crafts movement.

This ethos means that all Dalesbred pieces are handcrafted in our workshops and we source the finest wood and material. Our designs marry practicality and beauty, and we work with materials honestly so that character and features in wood are retained and acknowledged.
