Unlike buying from the high street our bespoke approach means that whatever we create is designed in collaboration with you. Free-standing kitchens, tables, chairs, beds and much more are crafted to suit your tastes and homes. Involving and fascinating, this creative process has been refined over twenty years.

The initial consultation for bespoke cabinet work is worth taking time over. Dalesbred's co-director Simon will visit your home to understand the space our piece will fit into and get a sense of your style. Working together we will discuss all of the options available; types of wood, finishes, size and finer points of the design which will produce a truly unique piece of furniture for you.

Once the materials are sourced and the designs have been approved our craftsmen will begin with exacting attention to detail. The creation of all pieces is overseen by Simon to ensure all details are as you requested. Mid-way through the process we encourage you to visit our workshops and see your commission being made or we can take photos and keep you up to date by email.

Your finished commission is now checked, polished and carefully packed for delivery. If we're making a free-standing kitchen or installing larger pieces such as a library we'll arrange a time to fit it, and again Simon will be on hand to make sure everything looks fantastic in your home.
